(NOTE: Although my 366 photo a day project is now over, I would still love to share photos with you throughout 2013, so now my blog takes a turn to be the ‘when I take a good photo’ blog. It won’t be every day, it may not be every week, but I’ve loved doing this blog far too much to let go just yet.)
Q. What is this?
A. This is a project 365. A 365 day photography project blog (plus an extra day because it’s a leap year).
I’m taking a photo every day of 2012 – to create, record and improve my photography.

I only see one page?
On the left hand side of the homepage is a small grey arrow that will show you previous posts. Once you are on a specific day you can also use the arrows either side of the photo to click through to the next image.
Love it – I started out with a similar daily photo plan too – but life keeps getting in the way – sigh….
These are beautiful, I am currently studying photography and have to take a photo every day until may, and you have just inspired me 🙂
Love the work!!! I use photography as a stress reliever myself and love being behind the camera. You can see beauty in anything when you’re behind the lens. I am looking forward to seeing your work the rest of the year 🙂

Hi Clare, I’ve been following your blog for a while (and I like it!) but have a question as I couldn’t find any “rules” anywhere online: I’m considering doing a 365 project on my photoblog in 2013 but have no idea whether you actually need to TAKE a photo a day, or can you just POST a photo a day from your archives?
Hi there, thanks for following my work 🙂 there are no rules, make your own for what fits your life & aims. My aim was to take my camera out with me more and take more images, so I aimed to take a photo everyday. Some days I took loads, some days I took only one. If You know you’re going to be away for a day, then just use another one. I don’t think it needs to be strict, otherwise you start to panic. I did to start with, then realised this is MY project I can do whatever the hell I like with it! 🙂 sadly things have gone on top of me recently and in the last month I’ve had to stop posting as much as I’ve got so much work on. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to take an amazing photo each day, some photos that I wasn’t happy with other people loved. Let me know if I can help at all & definitely give me a link to your blog! Doing the blog has improved my photography no-end 🙂

I guess I already did get myself into a panic about this rules thing 😀 I just thought with so many 365 blogs out there, they’re all following a rule… Thank you for the pep talk, though! I’ll probably do a survey on my blog (which as you asked is throughalaywomanslens.wordpress.com) to see if followers would care for a year-long 365 project. Then again, as you said – it’s my blog, so I might just very well do it :-).
