It’s been a crazy 24 hours on the blog. Somehow I managed to make it onto Freshly Pressed with yesterdays photo, I’m not sure how – but the result has been phenomenal!
I’ve had hundreds of messages, likes and new followers – I’d like to thank you all for the kind words, it’s so completely overwhelming to get such great feedback. Short of giving a tearful acceptance speech, I’ll get on with today’s post…
So today the pressure was ON – all these new followers expecting a great photo, I hope I’ve done you proud.
love the flare!
Indeed you have.
nice picture…calmness and spiritual…
Congratulations on getting onto fresly pressed. As someone who writes fiction inspired by photos (although mine are nowhere near as good as yours) I can honestly say your pictures are inspiring to my poetic soul.
Thanks Janet – we should collaborate!

I think you did great. The corona effect is beautiful. The entire image is beautiful and the light painting is serene and reverent. I love seeing images that I myself would have taken, but done differently than me. That’s why I’m happy to be “shooting daily” with you. I hope you could take a look at and follow my daily work this year as well: http://365fivephotoproject.wordpress.com
